Welcome to the Danbury Ski Club
A Club for All Seasons
We are 60 years young!

The Danbury Ski Club (DSC) was founded in 1955 and has been a member of the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) since 1956.  We recently joined the Metro NY Ski Council. That council was established in 1934!  DSC has over 500 members who participate in downhill, cross-country, and telemark skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many other outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, SCUBA diving, kayaking, whitewater rafting and more.

We also organize picnics, parties, social events, US and International ski/board vacations, trips to VT, NH and ME and many other activities.  We truly are a club for all seasons!

Danbury Ski Club members enjoy generous discounts on lift tickets through both the CSC and NY Metro Discount Lift Ticket Programs and save even more by participating in the council's Awareness Days.  Visit the CSC website at www.skiclub.com for a complete listing of discounts including CSC Season and Lodging Discounts.  And the Metro NY Ski Council has many offerings.  Please download the annual guide on their home page www.metnyski.org .

DSC's ski lodge "The Maples" located in Weston, Vermont offers members affordable accommodations just minutes from Southern and Central Vermont's top resorts.  A family of 4 can stay for $90 per night!  The club participates in weekly ski and snowboard racing.  We also offer race coaching at our annual On Snow Day.

Check back with this website often to get information on the many trips that we organize throughout the year -- not just skiing, but diving, whitewater rafting and other activities too!  We are always looking for new ideas and for our members to take a leading role, so feel free to offer suggestions for activities and events.  DSC provides services and donations to local charitable organizations.  We offer other opportunities to get involved with your community and make new friends as well.

Singles, couples and families are all welcome. Annual dues are very affordable and pays for itself in discounted lift tickets and events.
