Why Become a Member ?

The Danbury Ski Club offers year-round sporting and social events and great ski trips. Every member of DSC has access to additional benefits offer through the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC), The Metropolitan New York Ski Council (MNYSC), and the National Ski Council Federation (NSCF) which can save you far more than the price of your club membership!

Ski Trips

Our membership includes skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. We have traveled all over the world looking for the best snow. We offer multiple trips each year for you to improve your techniques, ski with someone of similar ability or challenge yourself by skiing with an expert. You do not have to ski or board to go on a trip - a number of members bring non-skiing partners along for the journey

Current club members help in the selection of each years trip. The club's trip director and trip leaders already have everything planned out:

• No planning needed on your part

• Condos or Hotels are booked at properties we have researched

• Airline tickets and seats are reserved

• Various parties, activities, group dinners, happy hours are planned

• Lift tickets are arranged

You can rely on a trip leader:

• Who knows the ski area

• Who is capable of handling traveling situations

• Who helps you have a great trip

You'll always have someone to ski with:

• Ski at your level

• Ski when and where you want

Exclusive Discounts

DSC members enjoy a number of discounts.
Through the CT Ski Council, members receive discounts including:

Discounted Bulk Tickets – Bulk Tickets are price discounted tickets that can typically be used at the selected mountains on any day of the season. The purchase of these tickets is done in October of the coming Season and are purchased by the member’s club. These tickets are a great way to plan a great family / group ski vacation at a reduced price.
Awareness Day’s discounted lift ticket rates at a select mountain on many days during each season.
Discounted Trip rates to various destinations that are selected by the persons / clubs running the trips. Trips to South America, Europe and the Midwest have been run.
Special Discount Days offered at certain resorts for various days and times throughout a season.

Average discounts for lift tickets, ski lessons and rentals:

• 25-60% discounts on lift tickets

• 15-33% discounts on ski school and rentals

Monday Night Racing

The Connecticut Ski Council Monday Night Racing / skiing series has been planned and is fast approaching! Racing starts when there's snow, typically around mid-to-late-Dec. Danbury Ski Club is anticipating another great showing, even better than last season. We're excited that many more club members have decided to join us in the gates this coming season. No Racing experience? Have no fear!! You don't need to be a racer, if know how to click into your ski or snowboard bindings, you are qualified to race. You simply need to be able to ski down the race course, however fast you wish. Everyone earns points! Hope to see you soon at Mt. Membership Cost

New members can join at any time. The club membership year runs from 9/1 to 8/31.

Camaraderie

DSC is a club full of friendly people. We have meetings and a variety of social activities as well as parties, dances, etc. Meet new people to ski or board with, bike, hike, kayak, and more.

In the DSC, you will find new friends to share your adventures on and off the slopes. We have members of all abilities and experiences. Come, ski with us, and make new friends for life.
