Danbury Ski Club Origins
Danbury Ski Club was founded in 1955. It's stated purpose was to "encourage participation in the sport of skiing and related activities". Today, after 60 plus years our Club promotes not only skiing; but snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. When the snow melts, there are still plenty of activities that we organize and/or participate in: Scuba diving, rafting, hiking, kayaking, baseball and football outings and community service events.
Danbury Ski Club
is a 501 c (7) non-profit organization. Meetings are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at Hatters Park Hall, 7 East Hayestown Rd. Danbury, CT.
