Dolomiti Superski is the ultimate ski area in the Dolomite Alps. The ski area is spread over the Italian regions of Southern Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno and counts 1200 kilometres of ski slopes in 12 different ski areas which all have one common ski pass.
The ski areas are: Cortina d’Ampezzo with 140 km, Plan de Corones with 107 km, Alta Badia with 130 km and Civetta with 80 km ski pistes. Val de Gardena offers 195 and Seiser Alm 60 kilometres of ski slopes. Dolomiti Superski includes also Fassa Valley / Lake Karer with 142 kilometres, the ski region Arabba with 40 km and futhermore Marmolada with 12 km of ski slopes. The Sextner Dolomites offer 77 kilometres of ski pistes toghether with the High Puster Valley . And finally there are 46 km of ski slopes in Val di Fiemme/Obereggen, 65 km in Passo Rolle/San Martino di Castrozza, 23 km in Isarco Valley and 83 kilometres in Trevalli (Alpe Lusia, San Pellegrino and Falcade).
All ski areas are situated between 1500 and 3300 metres of altitude. Surrounded by rugged mountainsides are calm high plateaus and easy ski slopes for beginners. But also challenging, difficult ski slopes for experienced skiers or WorldCup participants. 360 kilometres of ski slopes are marked as blue/easy slopes. 720 km area marked as intermediate/red slopes and 120 km are marked as black/difficult. 460 lifts such as cables cars, chair lifts, gondolas and drag lifts trasport all skiers up to the ski slopes conveniently and without delays. Ski season normally starts in November and lasts until April. Hundreds of snow cannons guarantee perfectly prepared ski slopes. In winter it is possible to ski around the entire massif by using the Sellaronda ski lift carousel. Source

Suggested itinerary to the discovery of the Tour of the Great War starting from the village of La Villa in Alta Badia
GUIDED SKI TOUR OF THE GREAT WAR
Between nature and history of the Dolomites - UNESCO World Heritage. Details The centre point of the First World War ski tour is the symbolic mountain of the 1st world war, Mount Col di Lana. The 80 km (49 mi) tour takes you around this mountain. Everywhere, you will find traces of World War 1: Artefacts from the war era, trenches running right through the rocks, parapet walks and forts. In Alta Badia, you will start in Corvara and go to Campolongo Pass until you reach Arabba. Via Arabba and Porta Vescovo, you will reach Malga Ciapela/Marmolada. From here, you can take a detour to Marmolada Glacier (3,342 m / 10,964 ft). Continue with the ski bus to Alleghe, where you can explore the runs of the skiing region Civetta. The ski bus takes you from Pescul to the Fedare hut (Giau Pass). From the Fedare slope you reach the forcella Croda Negra (Croda Negra pass) with a two-seater chair-lift. On the north side of the Forcella Negra the new Averau-Troi ski track brings you to the Col Gallina and to Passo Falzarego where you continue for Alta Badia with the Lagazuoi ski tour. For the whole tour you need approximately 7 and 8 hours. Therefore, we recommend to take off in the early morning in order to finish the tour in time before the lifts close. Our insider tip: One of the most spectacular descents of this tour is definitely the ski slope that from the top of Lagazuoi descends towards Armentarola in Alta Badia, the longest ski slope in the Dolomites. •Total lenght: 82,50 km (51.26 mi) •Lenght of the slopes : 31,00 km (19.26 mi) •Lenght lift transport: 18,00 km (11.18 mi) •Duration of the tour: 7-8 hours approx Tour Information: This itinerary is the wonderful Tour of the Great War starting from ALTA BADIA, in this case from the village of La Villa at the Hotel Antines from which we will start our journey through the areas where battles took place, glorious symbols of the First World War.
