The Danbury Ski Club offers many benefits to its members. Trips, Ski Lodge, Year-round Activities, Discounts, Camaraderie and more! Attend a meeting, meet members, get involved, and make new friends.
The Danbury Ski Club (DSC) was founded in 1955 and has been a member of the
Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) since 1956. DSC has over 500 members who participate in downhill, cross-country, and telemark skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many other outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, SCUBA diving, kayaking, whitewater rafting and more.
We also organize picnics, parties, social events, trips and many other activities. We truly are a club for all seasons

Located in Weston, Vermont - our lodge is available to all DSC Members and their guests.

DSC sponsors a number of trips annually, both in the US and international. In 2020 we will go to:

The meeting will not be held at Hatter's Park. For those who are picking up ski vouchers, or have business before the Board we will be meeting at:

The board meeting is open to all members and perspective members to attend.
Racing
The Danbury Ski Club has some of the best racers in Connecticut and typically finishes among the State's top clubs in several categories. The DSC Team participates in racing events and clinics throughout the season:
- CSC Monday night racing at Mt. Southington, registration is until 7:00
- Connecticut State Races including Slalom, Giant Slalom, Downhill, and Cross-Country
- CSC Winter Carnival
- DSC On-Snow Day
All skiing abilities are welcome and you don't need any racing experience. So why not give it a try?

Tarrywile Hike Sat. Nov 9th, 9am
Meet at Lower Tarrywile parking lot in Danbury off of Southern Boulevard
A moderate 3 mile hike done at a moderate pace, approx 3 hr. This hike has about 3 small climbs plus 1 climb of about 450 ft.. Bring some water and snacks. Also try and have the following:
- Hiking Boots
- Extra Layers
- Raingear if possible
- Best to wear loose fitting clothing that breathes. (E.G. Polypropylene, Bergolene, Duofold Etc...

Lake Waramaug State Park Bike Ride & Lunch
Announcing a new informal event: We're meeting 10 am Saturday, October 12th at Lake Waramaug State Park parking lot. There is a beautiful 7 mile ride around the lake and an option to do a longer ride if there's enough interest. Afterwards we will go to the beach to have lunch. Bring your own food and drink! There are grills there and picnic tables. If you don't want to ride, feel free to meet us for lunch at noon. Possible stop at Hopkins Vineyard along the ride. There's no rain date.
